With the Élémentaire Chair chair, Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec has created a chair for Hay that skilfully balances aesthetics and functionality. Straight lines, defined edges and a minimalist form characterize the design of the chair, which fits into any ambience. Despite the seemingly simple design, the chair attracts all eyes due to its angular appearance and also sets stylish accents thanks to its diverse color selection. The matte, slightly textured surface also gives the chair a certain elegance.
Made of polypropylene reinforced with fiberglass
The chair is made of injection-molded polypropylene, which is additionally reinforced with fiberglass. The material composition is characterized by UV resistance and moisture resistance, so the chair is also ideal for outdoor use. So, flexibly, it can be placed on the balcony, terrace or garden in nice weather and serve as a practical seat for barbecues or cozy get-togethers outdoors.
