The height-adjustable desk from the Works collection from String is a classic work desk, but without its heavy appearance. With an adjustment range between 715 and 1185 mm, it is suitable for people and professions of all kinds.
A small but useful detail complements the usefulness of the String desk: a small compartment in the tabletop is suitable for running cables for lights or notebooks or for charging smartphones.
The frame of the Works desk is made of thin metal tubes – a fact that gives it its visual lightness. The table was created for work environments of all kinds, but it is also suitable for home with its elegant design. Designed by Björn Dahlström and Anna von Schewen, the table is also suitable as a small conference table, as it offers the possibility of cable management and it has a large free space at the bottom.
With its height adjustment the String Works Desk is also suitable for spontaneous meetings where standing at the table seems appropriate.
