The Formakami pendant light JH3 from & Tradition reminds at first sight of a traditional Asian lantern, which is mostly used for festivities or decoration. With specific accents in wood, the Spanish designer Jaime Hayon gives the lamps a Scandinavian charm that can be combined in many ways in the living area.
direct & indirect light
The delicate rice paper of the pendant lamp is brought into shape by black stained oak rings. This creates a silhouette that provides a special light emission. The Formakami lamp is equipped with two light sources: While one bulb is located in the upper, closed part of the lamp and provides a soft, indirect light, the second bulb in the open part is responsible for direct light, which brightly illuminates the surface below.
This makes the JH3 particularly suitable for atmospheric lighting above the dining table, where & tradition luminaire with direct and indirect light for bright moments.
